Halo Wars is an upcoming real-time strategy video game set in the Halo universe, designed by Ensemble Studios for Xbox 360. It was confirmed that it was going to be set to release on Feb 28, 2009, a few weeks after the Halo Wars Demo was release. It have been updated to be release on March 3, 2009.
Microsoft has revealed a Halo Wars - Limited Collector’s Edition for the game which releases on March 3, 2009 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
The Halo Wars Collector’s Edition Bundle will include:
- Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack that includes Assembly, Orbital and Sandbox stages
- Bonus in-game “Honor Guard” Wraith
- Halo Wars: Genesis graphic novel
- Six Leader Cards
- A Spirit of Fire patch
- Special Packaging, case and artwork
